NETICS offers expertise and experience in innovative soil stabilisation. Currently, various stabilisation techniques exist. These range from injecting certain substances to mechanic stabilisation through tamping or compression of soil. Stabilised, compressed soil is already in use for of walls or other building elements, such as Compressed Stabilized Earth Bricks (CSEB) and Rammed Earth Walls. These methods make use of soil which is shaken compressed under high pressure in a container. Additives such as Portland cement can be used to reinforce these bricks or walls.

NETICS specialises in the use of innovative techniques and additives for soil stabilisations. We research and optimize compression techniques and identify and test alternative stabilizers through geotechnic research as well as laboratory and field tests. We are currently able to use innovative additives to stabilize, condense or lighten dewatered sludge and other types of soil. We regularly discover additional substances that can be used for stabilisation, including replacements for cement. Using innovative binders, we are able to create high-quality constructions consisting of sludge, waste materials and even glass.
